​Hinckley Archery Club, founded in 1980 is a very friendly and inclusive club that welcomes old and new archers of all ages, either beginners or experienced.

Latest News 2021


25th August 2021

  • At the AGM the club decided to stay at Parklands in Burbage for at least the next year. The club membership for 2021/2022 feeds are published on the members page. The AGM minutes will be updated in due course on the club information page.

26th July 2021

  • The AGM will be held on the 5th of August at the field after shooting at 6:30pm, bring a chair and drink. In the even that the weather looks bad we'll arrange an alternative location - please contact Mark if you are planning on attending so we can keep you updated on change of location. One of the main topics for discussion will be the future location for the club.


30th June 2021

  • Updated the contact details for Parklands Farm in Burbage where we have been shooting for the last 12 months. More details will be added as ArcheryGB update guidelines and government restrictions change. Today we are still shooting weather permitting twice a week as per the March update.

31st March 2021

  • As per Archery GB guidance and lockdown easing for organised out door sports from the 29th March we will start shooting again following last years social distancing measures. Details can be found here: Link to ArcheryGB - as spring daylight saving has happened we'll shoot from 1st of April - Thursday 5pm till 7pm and Sunday 10:30am to 12:30am - please email for further details.

  • Website house keeping and a note on the front page around waiting for Archery GB to release guidance on getting back to shooting again.... soon!

  • Although we had a couple of good shoots in December - national lockdown prevented us from shooting in January and February.
  • Whilst shooting over the last 6 months when we've been able to we observe social distancing and follow protocols laid down by Archery GB which has proved to be a safe and fun environment.
